Our comprehensive supportive service programs provide Veterans with an array of services in order to increase their self-sufficiency, well-being, and maintain a holistic approach to Veteran-centric care.

In 2020, VLP provided 1,818 Veterans with supportive service assistance.

PAServes – Greater Pittsburgh network:  A program intended to serve Veterans, Service Members, and their families in the greater Pittsburgh area.

The PAServes – Greater Pittsburgh program is hosted by the Veterans Leadership Program (VLP) and is known as the coordination center.  The PAServes – Greater Pittsburgh network provides a comprehensive system of coordinated services that meet the military-connected family's needs.  Regardless of discharge status, the coordination center matches clients to local and national health and human service organizations, ensuring clients receive the right resources in the least amount of time.

"Without VLP... you guys saved my life.”

Navy Veteran Ralph, who recently transitioned into civilian life after serving 20 years in the Navy, received suits from our "Suits for Veterans" Distribution. These suits enabled Ralph to feel confident in his search for gainful civilian employment.

Veteran Shalisa is a proud and successful graduate of VLP's housing program. She now stays connected through VLP's Women Veterans Program to network with fellow Veterans.
